“Once again, we are thrilled to announce that Chris and Brooke are returning to host the 2013 Miss America Competition, the most watched non sports program on a Saturday night for almost two years” said Sam Haskell, III, Board Chairman of the Miss America Organization. “Chris and Brooke are a wonderful team, and together they helped us achieve record ratings on ABC last January, and we are so proud to welcome them back for another incredible television event. Chris and Brooke were the perfect emcees for our show, and they helped to successfully set the stage to spotlight 53 beautiful and talented young women in our program.”

Harrison began his television career by covering local sports in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and quickly ventured into entertainment television. In 1999 he landed the job as host of HGTV’s “Designer’s Challenge,” which was one of the network’s highest rated shows. In 2001 he became host of ABC’s hit romance/reality series “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.” He also hosts ABC’s reality show “Bachelor Pad,” an all-star reunion from previous seasons of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” which just finished airing its third season this summer. Harrison continues to advance in the entertainment industry through a variety of professional endeavors: He hosted the live television coverage of the final championship rounds of the 2010 “Scripps National Spelling Bee” on ABC, co-hosted ABC’s 2008 “American Music Awards Red Carpet Live!,” and hosted this year’s “Emmys Red Carpet Live,” interviewing celebrities and the evening’s nominees as they made their way into the theater for “The 64th Primetime Emmy® Awards.”

Burke-Charvet is a successful host, actress and entrepreneur. She returned for her sixth season as co-host of ABC’s hit competition show “Dancing with the Stars” this September, having earned the coveted mirror ball trophy as Season Seven’s champion with professional dance partner Derek Hough. Earlier this year she released two new fitness DVDs, “Transform Your Body with Brooke Burke: Strengthen & Condition” and “Tone & Tighten,” and her first book, The Naked Mom, in paperback. With close to 2 million Twitter followers, Burke-Charvet has made a name for herself as a trusted resource in the world of motherhood and the social media network, motivating her to co-create the website ModernMom.com, an online community for “the woman behind the mom.” As a pro blogger, she offers an in-depth look into her personal life on the site, building upon her own powerful “Mommy” brand. As a successful entrepreneur, she created the online store BabooshBaby.com in 2007, featuring her popular post-pregnancy belly wraps, Tauts. Most recently she has taken her creativity to the fashion world, launching IntiMint, a line of intimate and lounge apparel, and creating her own line of jewelry with designer Chad Allison. She has also just finished shooting two more fitness DVDs, with a few more scheduled for later next year. Burke-Charvet was raised in Tucson, Arizona and currently lives in California with her children and husband, David Charvet.
