The Philippines’ representatives to 4 major international pageants were crowned at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines, Sunday night, April 14. The top winners include Ariella Arida (41), Miss Universe-Philippines; Bea Rose Santiago (20), Bb. Pilipinas-International; Joanna Cindy Miranda (16), Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism; Mutya Joahanna Datul (39) Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational and Pia Wurtzbach (15), 1st Runner Up.
The rest of the top 15 include Imelda Schweighart (45), Grace Yann Apuad (34), Charmaine Elima (13), Rhea Nakpil (43), Amanda Noelle Navasero (46), Ellore Noelle Punzalan (22), Camille Carla Nazar (12), Maria Angelica de Leon (31), Merry Joice Respicio (25) and Parul Shah (33).

Miss Tourism International 2012-13 is Miss Philippines!

The 22-year-old Cebuana bested 55 other delegates from around the world vying for the crown. Gomez is the second Filipina to win the crown after Miss Tourism International 2000 Maria Esperanza. The pageant began in 1994.
Completing the Top 10 semi-finalists were the contestants from China, India, New Zealand, Russia and Thailand. Only 10 beauties made the final cut this year.
Mongolia was awarded Best National Costume, and Malaysia won Best in Talent.
Miss Tourism Malaysia 2012
Miss Tourism Malaysia 2012, Jun Yong Wan Jun
Part-time teacher Jun Yong Wan Jun was crowned Miss Tourism Malaysia 2012 after she outshined 16 other contestants at the pageant finals held at a hotel here Friday night.
Jun Yong, 20, will go on to represent Malaysia at the Miss Tourism International 2012, with 59 countries taking part.
Second and third places went to Michelle Fong Kah Yin and Valeria Chua Hui Chin, respectively.
Last year’s Miss Tourism International, Aileen Gabriella Robinson, who was Miss Tourism Malaysia 2011 crowned Jun Yong, witnessed by Information Communication and Culture deputy minister Datuk Maglin Dennis D’Cruz.
The pageant is a talent search platform for the international event scheduled for Dec 31, this year, aimed at promoting Malaysia’s tourism sector.
